The latest improvements in the digital technology have led to the development of the digital media. Digital media as form of media content that combine and integrate various data formats use computer network as its main delivery system. Four factors influence the rapid development of the digital media i.e. the technology advancement, the desire to innovate, to express the creative spirit, and to exploit the new business opportunities. The media industries have started to explore the possibilities of using the digital media as alternatives to the traditional media. Three factors that encourage this trend are the cost saving of the storing and delivering the media contents, the value that can be added to the content, and the pos-sibility of changing to a more focused content delivery system. The greatest impact of the digital technology to the broadcasting media is the democratization of the media, in the sense that everybody that has access to the technology could then become an artist, a producer, and a broadcaster at the same time. On the other side of the coin, without a clear regulation and code of practice, the result will be the media anarchy.
